Belgian Informatica Olympics

A renewed competition for everyone: every pupil from secondary can participate without any prior knowledge.

The first round contains only puzzle questions and logic, no questions about programming, so no prior knowledge is required. Only the final contains questions where code must be read and completed on paper.

The competition now comprises three categories according to academic year, each with their own classification:

  • promise up to and including the second secondary;
  • junior for the third and fourth secondary;
  • senior for the fifth, sixth (and seventh) secondary.

Those who get past the first round can take a course and also get some tools to learn the basics of programming. The very best can also participate in the training of the national team (beCP).

Secondary students with an interest or a talent for computer science can register via the website . You will also find all info, the rules, examples and exercises.
