De Muziekbank: Musical instruments for underprivileged children and young people
The Muziekbank, an initiative of the Streekfonds West-Vlaanderen, focuses on the purchase of musical instruments for underprivileged children and young people in West Flanders.
The Muziekbank is aimed at the growing group of children and young people who do not have the opportunity to purchase their own instrument for a music education at an academy or music school.
The fund assists with the purchase of an instrument or the revision of available instruments. The Muziekbank also organizes workshops and makes teaching material available.
