School project Madagascar: Volunteers wanted

School project Madagascar is a fourth pillar project of the municipality of Evergem that is supported by the Province of East Flanders and Leraars Zonder Grenzen

They are looking for volunteers for the working holiday that will take place from July 15 to August 15, 2024 in three primary schools in Madagascar. If you are a teacher, teacher training student, retired teacher, youth worker, monitor in youth work, nurse or educator, you can certainly participate.

What the Madagascar School Project does on the ground:

• organize playground activities with games, sports, crafts;
• teaching about the proposed themes using creative and active working methods;
• help with the educational design of classes and playground.

Conditions:

• being able to cope in French;
• being able to function in a group and adapt to living in somewhat austere circumstances;
• being open to other cultures and being able to deal with other views and customs;
• be flexible if something does not go as you would like or within the agreed time.
